Christian Montenegro is an Argentinean illustrator.

First, he studied comics in Alberto Breccia’s atelier and later Graphic design in the Buenos Aires University. Since the year 2002 he’s worked with digital media, mixing concepts from design with his previous experience in comics. The style could be compared with a Lego system, simple pieces are combined in a more complex organization.

His works have been published in Argentina and all over the world.

Selected Work

My work is the mix between an emotional (expressionist) sense of color and line, and the analytical way of constructing an image. A Frankenstein-style between the Die Brüke and Bauhaus I would say. My style is in line with the Latin-American Baroque tradition–this means: you mix everything!
